Giving Opportunities

Unity Visitation Center, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established to provide supervised visitation for non-custodial parents in an atmosphere that promotes safe, positive, and productive interactions between children and parents.

It is a place where children are protected, and parents are encouraged to interact with them in healthy ways.  Our goal is to keep the parent-child attachment intact, to prevent feelings of abandonment, and to give parents an opportunity to spend time with their children so they can bond.  No parent wants to find themselves in a situation that calls for a supervised visitation arrangement; however, when that occurs, Unity Visitation Center, Inc. provides children with conflict-free access to both of their parents.

We know that donors like to see the impact of their dollar.  We are also sensitive to the concerns virtually everyone has amidst a global pandemic and its effect on finances.  While some of the amounts reflect actual expenses that UVC has and/or anticipates annually, others show the direct impact on your life.  For example, $312 may seem like an unachievable amount; however, are you willing to give up your favorite coffee one day a week If you are willing to forgo your caffeine for Texas families, then your dollar could train two new hires, provide professional development to the staff, and list us in an international registry of qualified providers.

There are a lot of people that need assistance that we are ready to bless; however, we can't do it without our faithful partners like you.

No amount is too small.  Thank you!

  • Donate Your Rounded Up Change To The Dollar

Rounding up for everyday transactions makes charitable giving affordable for every budget. RoundUp App requires a funding source from donors (usually a credit and/or debit card) and a bank account for “RoundUp” transactions. The bank integration provides them with “read-only” access to the linked account(s) that allows them to calculate the RoundUps. Donors can view their current RoundUps and see how much they will donate that month. Donors can also set their personal preferences on the profile settings for a monthly maximum amount. It is versatile, customizable, and encourages regular giving.

  • Have A Facebook Birthday Fundraiser

Make sure you like us on Facebook first!

Facebook does a lot of the work for us because what they do is they prompt people in their newsfeed a week or two before their birthday to set up a birthday fundraiser. Essentially, they’re advertising for us, asking you to donate to our cause. Then, you’ll click on the notification, come to a dropdown list of charities, and select Unity Visitation Center. Then, you enter a personal message about why you selected us and invite all your friends. Happy birthday and many happy returns!

We are also in need of gently used toys and books.
